A note from Freky

I started this service because older people deserve more than a knock at the door and a quick check-in.

I am Freky, a Registered Learning Disability Nurse with over ten years' experience in care and nursing. Egham Elderly Companionship is small and personal on purpose. We are not a large agency, and you will not meet a different face each week.

Instead, you get a consistent companion who takes the time to know your loved one. Their stories, their routines, the way they like their tea. Visits are unhurried, flexible, and gently overseen by a nurse, so families feel reassured that someone trustworthy is paying attention.

How we help

Quiet, thoughtful companionship, shaped around your family.

Every visit is planned around what your loved one actually enjoys. Here are some of the ways we spend time together.

Companionship visits

Conversation, a cup of tea, a familiar face. Gentle company at home or in the garden.

Shopping & errands

Help with the weekly shop, the post office, or picking up a prescription.

Appointment company

A calm, attentive companion for GP, hospital, or hairdresser appointments.

Hobbies & interests

Time for music, gardening, puzzles, photo albums, and the things that bring joy.

Wellbeing check-ins

Quiet, nurse-led observation of wellbeing. Never clinical, always reassuring.

Mealtime company

Help preparing a light meal and the comfort of someone to share it with.

Family updates

A short, thoughtful note to family after every visit, so loved ones feel close.

Respite for family

Time for family carers to rest, knowing someone trusted is there.

Walks & outings

Gentle trips out for fresh air, a cafe visit, or a familiar walk together.

Light housekeeping

A helping hand with light tidying, washing up, changing bed linen, or keeping things comfortable at home.

Memory & life story time

Time spent looking through photos, sharing memories, and enjoying meaningful conversation.

Admin & everyday paperwork

A helping hand with reading post, organising letters, making simple calls, or setting aside anything family may need to review.

We offer companionship and welfare support. Not regulated nursing or personal care.

Why families choose us

Small, personal, and quietly professional.

  • Updates after every visit

A short, warm note to family, so you know how the afternoon really went.
